Our wetsuits are designed around standard Australian kids' sizing and are available in sizes 2–12. We generally recommend choosing the size closest to your child's age. If they're between sizes or you'd like a little extra growing room, size up.

A wetsuit should fit snugly without feeling restrictive. A close fit helps keep your child warmer by reducing the amount of water moving through the suit, but they should still be able to move, swim and play comfortably.

Our wetsuits are made from 2mm neoprene, giving kids an extra layer of warmth without being too thick or restrictive. They're designed for swimming, surfing, beach days and general water play.

Both are made from our soft, stretchy 2mm neoprene. Our Short Sleeve Spring Suit gives more freedom through the arms, while the Long Sleeve Spring Suit provides extra coverage and warmth through the upper body and arms.

Absolutely. Lots of our customers use them for swimming lessons, particularly for kids who get cold quickly. If you're using the wetsuit regularly in a chlorinated pool, make sure you rinse it thoroughly in fresh, cold water after every swim, as chlorine can cause the fabric and colours to deteriorate faster over time.

Yes. Our wetsuits offer UPF 50+ protection over the areas covered by the suit, making them a great extra layer of protection for long days around the water. Sunscreen should still be applied to all exposed skin.

The bright colours were actually why Days in the Sand started! We wanted kids' wetsuits that were fun, colourful and easy to spot. Since launching, we've heard from so many parents who love how much easier our bright colours make it to quickly identify their kids at busy beaches, pools and around water.

No. While our bright colours can help make children easier to visually identify around water, our wetsuits are not a flotation or lifesaving device and should never replace active adult supervision or appropriate water-safety equipment.

After use, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly in fresh, cold water — especially after swimming in chlorine or salt water. Cold hand wash when needed and always dry in the shade. Avoid washing machines, dryers and harsh detergents.

Yes. Just keep in mind that regular exposure to chlorine can cause the fabric and bright colours to deteriorate faster. Rinse the wetsuit thoroughly in fresh, cold water straight after swimming and allow it to dry in the shade.

We aim to get orders out as quickly as possible, usually within 1–2 business days. During sales, launches and other busy periods, dispatch may take a little longer. You'll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

As soon as your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details. Please allow a little time for the tracking information to update after receiving your email.

If your order contains a pre-order product, your order will be shipped once the pre-order item is ready for dispatch. The estimated shipping date will be clearly shown on the product page when you order.

Yes. We offer returns on full-priced items within 30 days of delivery, provided your item meets our return conditions. If you've ordered the wrong size, we're also happy to help you organise an exchange. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

For hygiene reasons, wetsuits that have been worn in the water generally can't be returned for a change of mind or sizing. We recommend trying your wetsuit on at home with underwear underneath before removing tags or heading into the water.

If something isn't right with your order, please email us at info@daysinthesand.com.au with your order number and a few photos showing the issue. We'll take a look and get it sorted for you as quickly as possible.

Sale items can't be returned for a refund, but if the size isn't right we're happy to offer a store credit or size exchange. Some promotions may also have their own conditions, so please check the promotion terms or our Returns Policy before purchasing.

Once your return has been received and approved, we'll process your refund back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it can take approximately 7–10 business days to appear in your account.

We start packing orders pretty quickly, so we can't guarantee we'll be able to make changes once your order has been placed. Email us as soon as possible at info@daysinthesand.com.au and we'll do our best to help before it leaves us.
